Plot Synopsis : Harry, Ron, and Hermione return to Hogwarts for their second year, which proves to be more challenging than the last. The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, leaving a number of students, including Hermione, petrified by an unleashed monster. Meanwhile, Harry must face up to claims that he is the heir of Slytherin, because of his unusual ability to talk to snakes, which Salazar also possessed. Harry learns that this was also one of Voldemort's powers, transferred to him the night Voldemort attempted to kill him.
